Boutique Shopping in Agdal

Cote Maisons

I visited a Moroccan home goods boutique in Agdal that specializes in quality home accessories and gifts. It was hard to chose from the colorful candles, glassware, table linens, art, tapestries, and little gift items with a toddler in tow. I bought a few pens and hair sticks. I asked the shop keeper if they considered exporting their products to the United States. She said that quality control is a problem “you have to look at everything.”

Clearly, their buyer has looked at everything. The merchandise is high quality with the type of finished detail hard to find on products in the medina. The overall ambiance of the store is relaxed but sophisticated style (think Anthropologie a la Maroc). The store in Rabat is on Rue Soumaya (Angle Ibn Sina), not too far from Chez Paul. The Casablanca location is on Rue Moliere in Quartier Racine. I suggest you leave the toddlers at home. Staff were gracious with my daughter and forgiving when she broke a glass in the store, but you will want some quality time to contemplate your purchases.
