I miss chaouen too. I loved the goats cheese!! The best EVER. Also check out the little mosque on the hill. And walk up to the spring (le source). This town has touched my heart. I think back to the month I spent here every day. I look forward to when I can return.

You should only be proud to be Moroccan. Morocco is a country of contrasts; rich and poor; educated and illiterate; urban and rural; modern and traditional. The list goes on. The beauty of Morocco comes from the contrast and the artistic and cultural traditions that embrace it. There is nothing to be ashamed of. Salam.

As a Moroccan myself; I feel both ashamed and proud at reading your descriptions and looking at your pictures. They all show
artistic intuition, benign appreciation of the local culture. Thank you. I'm excited because I'm going to Morocco this upcoming February and I will certainly stop by Chefchaouen to buy me one of the nice half Jellaba for the winter.

keep the good work
