I stayed at Casa Hassan twice and enjoyed myself both times. I also heard good things about Ksar Aaladin. See post http://moroccandesign.com/the-hat-man-in-chefchaouen#more-92 for more information. I haven't hiked in Chefchaouen, but I know there are tons of hikes in the area including one to a nearby mosque over looking the city. The staff at Casa Hassan can provide information on tours of the area and help you make arrangements. Yes. I stayed at Casa Hassan twice and enjoyed myself both times.
